You know, I hadn’t thought of them, but you are right.

  2. Kevin | February 10, 2014 at 11:24 pm #

I think Peter the disciple. I think he was pretty interesting….I see a bit of me in him.

    • Stephanie Landsem | February 11, 2014 at 5:35 am #

Yes, I love Peter. He’s in parts of The Thief but he deserves his own book. Or an entire series.

I would like to see John the Baptist

  4. Beth | February 12, 2014 at 10:46 am #

    • Stephanie Landsem | February 14, 2014 at 4:01 pm #

Yes. Have you read Sinners and the Sea, the untold story of Noah’s wife? It is a surprising story or Noah.

Great Book wonderful slight twist of the Bible story

  7. Susan Fletcher | February 14, 2014 at 3:35 pm #

Let’s see, Biblical character for next book – Joseph, maybe.

    • Stephanie Landsem | February 14, 2014 at 4:01 pm #

There is so little in the Bible about Joseph, it would be so fascinating to make a story for him, wouldn’t it?

  8. Alyssa Faith | February 14, 2014 at 6:15 pm #

I would love to see Ruth. We don’t see many biblical fiction about her story. 🙂

    Paul, please!

  10. Katrina | February 14, 2014 at 10:12 pm #

    Blessings

    • Stephanie Landsem | February 15, 2014 at 6:26 pm #

John the Baptist would be fascinating to write, Katrina. If you like Stephen, you might want to read my first book, The Well.

  11. Susan J. Reinhardt | February 16, 2014 at 11:46 am #

    The apostle John.

    Congrats on your book!

  12. Lynette Eason | February 16, 2014 at 2:43 pm #

Would love to see some Biblical fiction on John, the disciple closest to Jesus.

  13. Teresa S Mathews | February 16, 2014 at 8:22 pm #

  14. Maxie Anderson | February 16, 2014 at 11:56 pm #

I think Rachel’s story would be good. Also David, a man after GOd’s own heart.

    • Stephanie Landsem | February 21, 2014 at 6:54 am #

David would be quite a conflicted hero and great to write about.

  15. bn100 | February 17, 2014 at 1:07 pm #

    Abraham?

    • Stephanie Landsem | February 22, 2014 at 9:51 pm #

      Abraham would be awesome!

  16. Ellie Whyte | February 18, 2014 at 2:40 am #

The young man in Mark 14:51-52 who was following Jesus as he was being arrested, clothed only in a linen cloth, but when the soldiers seized him he fled, running away naked. I’m assuming they must have seized him by the cloth only LOL And I cannot figure out who the man is as he is not mentioned as one of the disciples – they had already fled.

  17. Wendy Fisher | February 19, 2014 at 7:55 pm #

There are so many…I would love to read something on Mary, the mother of Jesus, or Mary Magdalene would be interesting. Job would be another super interesting story.
I love female characters (in the Bible, or even created) that walk in Jesus’ time. It gives me a better understanding of that time.
I just finished “The Thief” and it was so amazing! I really loved it, and towards the end it had me sobbing. So good!
    In Christ,
    Raechel

    Hi, Stephanie!

I love biblical fiction, and would love to read “The Thief”!!

There are SO many biblical characters I would love to read a novel about – first and foremost, is probably Mary, the mother of Jesus. Have always wanted to know more about her, and what her feelings were about the crucifixion, resurrection, plan of salvation, Jesus as her son etc.. Others I would like – some of which have been mentioned also: Noah, Abraham, Sarah, Job, Moses, David, Joseph, Adam and Eve, John, Judas, Paul, Esther, the rest of the disciples, Peter, Mary Magdalene.

Thanks for the opportunity to win a copy of “The Thief”!!
